PRIVACY POLICY

Last Updated: June 2026

1. Purpose and Scope

Bio-Globe Singapore Private Limited ("Bio-Globe", "we", "our" or "us") respects the privacy of individuals and is committed to handling personal data responsibly in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore ("PDPA") and other applicable laws.

This Privacy Policy explains how Bio-Globe collects, uses, discloses, stores, protects, retains, transfers and otherwise processes personal data in its possession or under its control.

This Policy applies to individuals who interact with Bio-Globe, including:

  • Customers and prospective customers;
  • Website visitors and persons submitting online enquiries or orders;
  • Independent distributors, applicants, representatives and business leaders;
  • Event, training and programme participants;
  • Persons providing testimonials, photographs, video or audio content;
  • Suppliers, contractors, service providers and business contacts; and
  • Visitors to Bio-Globe premises.

Separate privacy notices or internal policies may apply to employees, job applicants and other personnel.

This Policy provides notice of Bio-Globe's data-handling practices. Where consent is required, Bio-Globe will obtain it through an appropriate method. Nothing in this Policy limits any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under the PDPA or other applicable law.

2. Meaning of Personal Data

"Personal data" generally means data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be identified from that data alone or from that data together with other information to which Bio-Globe has or is likely to have access.

Personal data may exist in written, electronic, photographic, video, audio or other forms. Data that has been properly anonymised so that an individual cannot reasonably be identified is generally not personal data.

3. Personal Data We May Collect

The personal data collected depends on the individual's relationship and interactions with Bio-Globe. We may collect the following categories where reasonably relevant.

3.1 Identification and Contact Information

  • Name, signature and preferred form of address;
  • Telephone number, mobile number and email address;
  • Residential, billing, delivery, installation or correspondence address;
  • Preferred language and communication method;
  • Age or date of birth where reasonably required for eligibility, identity verification or legal purposes; and
  • Other contact or identification information voluntarily provided.

Bio-Globe does not generally require a full NRIC or passport number for ordinary retail website checkout. Where government-issued identification information is reasonably required for financing, instalment arrangements, distributor registration, identity verification, fraud prevention, legal compliance or another permitted purpose, Bio-Globe will collect and handle it only where reasonably necessary and legally permitted.

3.2 Order, Transaction and Payment Information

  • Products ordered, purchased, exchanged or returned;
  • Order, invoice, receipt and transaction references;
  • Purchase, payment, instalment, refund, exchange and dispute history;
  • Amounts paid, refunded or outstanding;
  • Payment method, payment status and limited transaction information;
  • Promotional package, voucher, rebate and complimentary-item information; and
  • Delivery, collection and installation arrangements.

3.3 Website Checkout and Account Information

Bio-Globe may offer guest checkout. Where customer-account functions are enabled, Bio-Globe may also collect account identifiers, login credentials in protected form, saved addresses, account preferences and order history. Bio-Globe will update this Policy if account functions materially change the data collected or the way it is used.

3.4 Product, Delivery, Installation and Servicing Information

  • Product model, serial number and warranty information;
  • Delivery, installation and servicing locations and appointment records;
  • Installation photographs, acknowledgements or technical records;
  • Maintenance, inspection, servicing and filter-replacement history;
  • Product-condition, repair and troubleshooting records; and
  • Information required to arrange collection, replacement or technical support.

3.5 Communications and Enquiries

Bio-Globe may collect and retain appropriate records of communications made through email, telephone, SMS, WhatsApp, website forms, social-media platforms, written correspondence or in-person discussions. These records may include the content of the enquiry, response, complaint, follow-up and relevant attachments.

Telephone calls and conversations will not ordinarily be recorded unless recording is reasonably necessary for a stated purpose and appropriate notice has been provided.

3.6 Voluntarily Shared Wellness Information

Because of the nature of Bio-Globe's products and customer support, individuals may voluntarily share information about hydration, sleep, physical comfort, lifestyle, wellness goals, dietary or daily habits, product experience or health-related concerns relevant to an enquiry.

Bio-Globe does not generally require detailed medical records or diagnoses for an ordinary purchase. Where wellness-related information is provided, Bio-Globe will seek to collect only what is reasonably relevant and may use it to understand the enquiry, provide general product information or support, address a service matter, manage the customer relationship or respond to the purpose for which it was provided.

Information shared for customer support is not automatic permission for publication or testimonial use. Separate permission will be obtained before identifiable wellness information is used for publicity. Access to wellness-related information will be limited to persons who reasonably need it for the relevant purpose.

3.7 Distributor and Representative Information

  • Application, registration and identity-verification information;
  • Distributor or representative identification number;
  • Sponsor, manager, team and organisational relationships;
  • Rank, role, status, sales, order and performance records;
  • Commission, incentive and payment information;
  • Training and event participation records;
  • Compliance, complaint, investigation or disciplinary records; and
  • Other information reasonably required to administer the business relationship.

3.8 Testimonials, Photographs, Video and Audio

Where appropriate permission or notice has been provided, Bio-Globe may collect written testimonials, photographs, video, voice recordings, event images, interview content and related identifying information.

3.9 Website, Cookie and Technical Information

  • Internet Protocol address and approximate location derived from technical information;
  • Device, browser, operating-system and screen information;
  • Pages viewed, referral source, date and time of access and interactions;
  • Checkout, transaction and conversion events;
  • Cookie, pixel or similar-technology identifiers;
  • Error, diagnostic, performance, security and fraud-prevention information; and
  • Information generated through analytics, embedded features or advertising tools where enabled.

3.10 CCTV Information

Closed-circuit television ("CCTV") may operate at Bio-Globe premises, including the training room and other areas used for safety, access control, security or business operations. CCTV may capture images and video of visitors, customers, representatives, staff and other persons in monitored areas. Audio recording is not ordinarily used unless justified for a legitimate purpose and appropriate notice is provided.

4. How We Collect Personal Data

Bio-Globe may collect personal data:

  • Directly from the individual;
  • Through the Bio-Globe website, checkout, forms or customer account functions where enabled;
  • Through authorised Bio-Globe representatives, distributors or staff;
  • During orders, payment, delivery, installation, servicing, warranty support, returns or refunds;
  • Through telephone, email, SMS, WhatsApp or other correspondence;
  • During events, training sessions, meetings, demonstrations or programmes;

  • Through cookies, pixels and similar technologies;
  • Through CCTV systems;
  • From an authorised person acting for an individual;
  • From publicly available sources where lawful and appropriate; or
  • From other sources where collection is permitted or required by law.

Where an individual provides personal data relating to another person, the individual should ensure that he or she is authorised to do so and has informed the other person of the relevant purposes, where required.

5. Purposes for Collecting, Using and Disclosing Personal Data

5.6 Marketing and Relationship Management

Where appropriate consent has been obtained, or where otherwise permitted by law, Bio-Globe may use personal data to provide information about products, services, events, promotions, training, newsletters, business updates, surveys or feedback opportunities, and to maintain customer or distributor relationships.

5.7 Testimonials, Events and Media

With appropriate permission or notice, Bio-Globe may use testimonials, photographs, video, audio or event content on its websites, social-media channels, presentations, training materials, printed materials, events, advertising and other channels stated in the applicable consent or notice.

5.8 CCTV and Premises Security

  • Protecting persons and property;

Bio-Globe may also process personal data for another purpose where the individual has been notified and appropriate consent has been obtained, or where the purpose is otherwise permitted or required by law.

6. Consent and Other Permitted Processing

Bio-Globe generally collects, uses and discloses personal data with the individual's consent, where consent is deemed under applicable law, where processing is reasonably necessary for a transaction or service requested by the individual, or where another legal exception applies.

Bio-Globe will not require an individual to consent to the collection, use or disclosure of personal data beyond what is reasonable for providing the requested product, service, transaction or relationship.

An individual who continues to provide personal data after being notified of the relevant purposes may, where applicable, be taken to have consented to those purposes. Bio-Globe will seek express consent where the circumstances or law require it.

7. Operational Communications and Marketing

Communications necessary to manage an order, payment, delivery, installation, servicing, warranty, refund, complaint, distributor relationship, safety matter or legal requirement are operational communications and are not optional promotional marketing.

Bio-Globe may send operational communications by email, telephone, SMS, WhatsApp or another channel reasonably connected to the transaction or relationship.

Promotional communications are managed separately. Where required, Bio-Globe will obtain appropriate consent before sending marketing messages. Marketing consent should be voluntary, not pre-selected, and separate from mandatory acceptance of purchase terms.

Bio-Globe will comply with applicable Do Not Call requirements for marketing messages sent to Singapore telephone numbers. Individuals may opt out by using an unsubscribe function, replying with an opt-out request, contacting the sender or emailing helpdesk@bio-globe.com.sg.

Opting out of marketing does not prevent Bio-Globe from sending necessary operational, transactional, safety or legal communications.

8. Payment Providers and Financing

Bio-Globe may use payment providers and financial institutions including HitPay and OCBC. Depending on the selected payment method, these providers may process credit-card payments, PayNow, GrabPay, instalment plans, refunds, chargebacks, fraud checks, identity or risk checks, settlement and regulatory compliance under their own terms and privacy practices.

Payment-card or bank information may be collected directly by the relevant provider through its secure interface. Bio-Globe does not intend to store complete payment-card credentials on its own website systems. Bio-Globe may receive limited payment information such as payment status, masked or limited account details, payment method, amount, date, instalment status, transaction reference and refund reference for fulfilment, accounting, support and dispute handling.

Customers should review the privacy information of the relevant payment or financing provider. Bio-Globe will select and work with providers that it reasonably considers suitable for the relevant service.

9. Disclosure to Service Providers and Other Parties

Bio-Globe may disclose personal data where reasonably necessary to:

  • HitPay, OCBC, banks, card issuers, payment gateways, instalment and financing providers;
  • Authorised Bio-Globe representatives or distributors involved in the individual's enquiry, order, delivery, support or business relationship, subject to appropriate access controls;
  • Related or associated companies where reasonably necessary for supply, logistics, shared support or corporate administration, subject to appropriate safeguards;

  • A prospective buyer, investor, financier or successor in a legitimate corporate transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and safeguards; and
  • Other parties authorised by the individual or permitted by law.

Bio-Globe will seek to disclose only personal data reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose. Service providers may process personal data on Bio-Globe's behalf or under their own independent legal and regulatory responsibilities.

Bio-Globe does not sell or rent personal data as a business practice.

10. Cookies, Analytics and Advertising Technologies

Bio-Globe's website may use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage and similar technologies. These technologies may be placed by Bio-Globe or authorised third parties and may fall into the following categories:

  • Strictly necessary technologies needed for website operation, security, checkout, payment and fraud prevention;
  • Preference technologies used to remember choices and settings;
  • Analytics technologies, including Google Analytics where enabled, used to understand website traffic, use and performance; and
  • Marketing or advertising technologies, including Meta Pixel where enabled, used to measure campaigns, understand actions on the website, create audiences or support advertising.

Google Search Console may also be used to understand how Bio-Globe's website appears and performs in Google Search. It generally provides aggregated search and technical information rather than a customer-facing checkout function.

Where required or appropriate, the website will provide a cookie notice or preference control so that visitors can make choices about non-essential analytics and marketing technologies. Where a visitor's choice is requested, non-essential analytics and marketing technologies will be configured to follow that choice. Strictly necessary technologies may operate because they are required for the website or requested service to function.

Visitors may also manage cookies through their browser settings. Disabling certain technologies may affect website functions, embedded content or checkout.

11. Google Maps, YouTube and Other Embedded Features

Bio-Globe's website may display Google Maps, YouTube videos or other third-party embedded features. When a visitor loads or interacts with such content, the relevant third party may receive information such as the visitor's IP address, device information, browser information, cookie identifiers and interaction data under its own privacy practices.

Bio-Globe may use privacy-enhanced settings, consent controls, placeholders or click-to-load features where reasonably available and appropriate. Third-party websites and platforms remain responsible for their own data-handling practices.

12. Testimonials, Photographs and Media Consent

A customer-service conversation or voluntarily shared product experience is not automatic permission to publish an identifiable testimonial.

Identifiable testimonials, photographs, video or voice recordings used for publicity should be supported by suitable consent, event notice or another lawful basis. The applicable consent or notice may address:

  • The material approved for use;
  • Whether the individual's name or other identifying information may appear;
  • The permitted channels and purposes;
  • Reasonable editing for length, clarity, format or presentation;
  • The duration or period of use; and
  • How consent for future use may be withdrawn.

Where an individual withdraws consent, Bio-Globe will take reasonable steps to stop future use where practicable. Withdrawal may not require Bio-Globe to recall material already lawfully printed, distributed or published before the withdrawal, and Bio-Globe may not be able to remove copies independently reposted, cached or retained by third parties.

13. CCTV

CCTV may operate at Bio-Globe premises for safety, security, access control, protection of persons and property, incident investigation and related legitimate purposes. Visible notice will be placed at or before entry to a monitored area where reasonably practicable.

Access to CCTV footage will be restricted to authorised persons and relevant service providers. Footage may be disclosed where reasonably necessary to investigate an incident, protect persons or property, make or defend a legal claim, support an insurance matter, respond to a lawful request or assist law-enforcement or regulatory authorities.

CCTV footage will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the relevant operational purpose, unless longer retention is required for an incident, access request, investigation, claim or legal obligation.

14. Overseas Processing and Transfers

Some payment providers, cloud systems, hosting services, analytics tools, advertising platforms, communications services, software providers or technical-support operations may store or process personal data outside Singapore.

Where Bio-Globe transfers personal data outside Singapore, it will take reasonable steps to ensure that the transferred personal data receives a standard of protection comparable to that required under the PDPA, where applicable. These steps may include contractual protections, vendor assessments, recognised certifications, security controls or other legally permitted transfer arrangements.

15. Protection and Security

Bio-Globe will make reasonable security arrangements to protect personal data in its possession or control against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or similar risks, and against the loss of storage media or devices on which personal data is stored.

Depending on the nature of the data and system, safeguards may include:

  • Role-based access restrictions and confidentiality requirements;
  • Strong passwords and multi-factor authentication where available;
  • Secure payment providers and encrypted connections;
  • Software updates, backups and malware or security controls;
  • Physical access controls and secure storage;
  • Vendor-management and contractual safeguards;
  • Staff guidance and incident-response procedures; and
  • Periodic review of access, systems and data-handling practices.

No electronic transmission or storage system is completely risk-free. Bio-Globe cannot guarantee absolute security but will take reasonable measures appropriate to the circumstances. Individuals should also protect their own devices, accounts, passwords and transaction information.

16. Accuracy

Bio-Globe will make reasonable efforts to ensure that personal data used or disclosed for a decision affecting an individual is accurate and complete. Individuals should inform Bio-Globe when relevant personal data changes or where a correction is required.

17. Retention

Bio-Globe will retain personal data only for as long as the purpose for which it was collected remains valid, the data is reasonably required for business, contractual, warranty, servicing, dispute, audit, security or legal purposes, or retention is otherwise permitted or required by law.

Different categories of records may have different retention periods. Examples include accounting and tax records, warranty and servicing histories, distributor records, consent records, complaint files, payment and refund records and security footage.

When personal data is no longer required for legal or business purposes, Bio-Globe will take reasonable steps to securely delete, destroy, anonymise or cease retaining it.

18. Access and Correction Requests

Subject to applicable law, an individual may request access to personal data about the individual that is in Bio-Globe's possession or control, information about how that data was used or disclosed during the applicable period, or correction of an error or omission in the individual's personal data.

Requests should be submitted to Bio-Globe's Data Protection Officer at helpdesk@bio-globe.com.sg and should contain sufficient information to identify the requester, the relevant records and the requested action.

Bio-Globe may require proof of identity, proof of authority where another person makes the request, and other reasonable verification. Bio-Globe may charge a reasonable fee for an access request where permitted by law and will inform the requester of the estimated fee before processing the request.

Bio-Globe will respond as soon as reasonably possible. If Bio-Globe is unable to respond within thirty (30) calendar days after receiving a sufficiently detailed request, it will inform the requester in writing within that period of the time by which it expects to respond. Certain information may be withheld where an exception under applicable law applies.

19. Withdrawal of Consent

An individual may withdraw consent for Bio-Globe's continued collection, use or disclosure of personal data by contacting the Data Protection Officer and giving reasonable notice.

Before processing the withdrawal, Bio-Globe may explain the likely consequences. Withdrawal may affect Bio-Globe's ability to fulfil an order, process a payment or refund, provide delivery, installation, servicing or warranty support, administer a distributor relationship, investigate a complaint or provide another requested service.

Withdrawal does not affect personal data already lawfully processed before the withdrawal. Bio-Globe may continue to retain, use or disclose personal data where permitted or required by law, including for legal, regulatory, accounting, dispute, safety, fraud-prevention or record-keeping purposes.

Bio-Globe will process a valid withdrawal request within a reasonable period, taking into account the nature and scope of the request.

20. Data Breaches

Bio-Globe maintains procedures for assessing and responding to suspected personal-data incidents. Where a data breach is legally notifiable, Bio-Globe will notify the Personal Data Protection Commission and affected individuals in accordance with applicable requirements.

Individuals who believe that personal data provided to Bio-Globe may have been lost, exposed, misused or accessed without authorisation should contact the Data Protection Officer promptly.

21. Minors

Bio-Globe's website and ordinary retail checkout are not specifically directed at children. Bio-Globe does not knowingly collect personal data from a minor where appropriate parental or guardian consent is required.

Where Bio-Globe becomes aware that personal data was provided by or about a minor without appropriate authority, Bio-Globe may take reasonable steps to verify consent, restrict processing or delete the data where appropriate.

22. Third-Party Websites and Services

Bio-Globe's website or communications may contain links to or features from independent third parties. Those parties may collect or process personal data under their own terms and privacy practices. Bio-Globe is not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third-party websites or services, but will seek to use reputable providers appropriate for the relevant purpose.

23. Complaints and Enquiries

Questions, concerns or complaints about personal data should be directed to the Data Protection Officer. Bio-Globe may request relevant information to investigate and respond to the matter and aims to address privacy concerns fairly and within a reasonable period.

24. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Bio-Globe may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in legal or regulatory requirements, business operations, products, services, website features, payment methods, service providers or data-handling practices.

The latest version will be published on Bio-Globe's website with the updated date. Material changes may also be communicated through another appropriate channel where reasonably necessary.
